Activity 4. An unforgettable experience

 A fun climb 

Every weekend I climb a mountain that is close to my home, but the last time has been a very fun and exciting experience, which has made me make new friends. I have been climbing this mountain for a month and a half without anyone's help.

To begin with I was on my way to the mountain, when an old friend from high school I had never seen him until that day and he greeted me and asked me where I was going and I told him that I was going for a hike to the mountain and he asked me if he could come with me, to which I said yes immediately, he just asked me to wait for him so he could go change and we could go to the mountain. After waiting for him for almost 20 minutes, we headed to the mountain. My friend has hiked this mountain many times and knows a lot of shortcuts. 

We were following a path to get to the highest part of the mountain and suddenly we heard a noise in the pasture, which scared us and we decided to go to investigate and to my surprise I had just seen a rabbit. It was only a small rabbit which was with its young, we looked at each other and we just laughed because we thought it could be a snake, we had not spent a funny moment like that, also later we decided to look for food for the rabbit and its offspring.

After what happened we decided to go to an old church that is almost at the top of the mountain, I had been very tired, but I did not give up, on the way my friend pointed me to a tree that has been planted for 100 years, I was surprised because I had never seen a tree so high, on the way we had to be very careful because there are many stones and we could get hurt. Once we arrived at the old church my companion told me that we had walked three hours to get there, at the end I asked my friend if he had climbed here and he answered no, but his father had already done it and he is an athletic man. In the end we could not believe it. We just did it, we climbed up to the old church and we promised to come back, but now with more friends to enjoy this place.
